Storm in a tea cup?

Already Internet has come a long way. Has created millioners aplenty. Awareness and usage been terrifc. Technological developments at unimaginable level. Now freshers have started coming in telling to take internet world to a storm in a couple of weeks/months and so. Are they real? Are we supposed to believe all these things? Is it a storm (in a tea cup) or scam? Please elighten.

I'm not sure what exactly you are asking... do you think the internet is a scam? I can't see how the entire web can be a scam? Of course there're a lot of scam sites and programs out there,e but you should just stay away from those :)
