Do you care about fashion?

Like do you pick up one of those Hollywood gossip magazines and read what these so-called fashion experts have to say (criticize)about what the stars are wearing? Do you watch these shows where they criticize *random male Hollywood star* for his unflattering facial hair and socks that don't fit his wardrobe? I get so sick of all that and I don't care one bit about fashion. If I like the way I look and the clothes I wear, that's all that matters. I don't need Hollywood telling me what's "in."

I do care but only a degree. I think looking nice, clean and somewhat put-together is important. But, I couldn't care less what Hollywood is wearing (or not as the case usually is) or what is "in style"...for now.

Yes, it's important to not go out in public looking like you slept in a dumpster. Good Hygiene only makes sense. I agree with you.

I glance at them while i'm in the check out lines often but I never buy them. I do like to watch the red carpet events and see what the celebrities wear and who makes the best/worst dressed list.

I'm probably going to be the oddball here, but I spent the majority of my adulthood before becoming a stay at home working in the fashion industry (for a national magazine). Working in my position, I had to know what was hot & what was not, and it's gotten to be something of a habit for me. That being said, I don't do trendy unless it looks good on me and I think its attractive. I did learn lots of little secrets to dressing in the most flattering way possible and to make the most of the wardrobe you already have. As far as expensive stuff goes - buy the best quality staples you can afford - anything else, buy cheap.
