Is December 21, 2012 the predicted Doomsday real? Will the world end on ths day?

It seems that the Mayan calendar ends on this day. Many astrologers like Nostradamus predicted the end of world on this day. Astrologers all over the world including China, England, France etc have predicted and described it almost 500 years ago. In the crop circles patterns of Mayan calendar have been found. Some say the Aliens are sending us the message through crop circles. Others say may be there will be a huge change like Golden age will start but the world may not be destroyed. Can anyone share their view on this?

predictions are just predictions. Nostradamus predictions never happened. i don't believe that there is someone who can tell when will be the end of the earth. yes a lot of things are happening in our days like, earthquake, tsunamis, storms, drought, and other phenomenas. if this are the signs maybe things are really to its end, but no one knows when is the exact date.

Doomsday can't be predicted. No one knows when the world is going to end. The end will start with the disappearing of all of God's children. Then the tribulations will begin. All of these astrologers can attempt to predict all they want, but they will all be wrong.

I guess nothing lasts forever and sooner or later our world will end. You only have to look at the way the weather patterns are changing, global warming and the depletion of natural resources. Volcanos erupting, earthquakes shaking the earth's crust, tsunamis and hurricanes, it all seems to indicate that something is not right with the earth.
I doubt if anything mankind can do will stave off the inevitable but it's unlikely to happen for thousands of years.

I think that if the world is going to end, it's not going to be predicted. However if it does end on 12/21/12 then I will say they was right. But of course I like most other people occupying this planet do not want it to be ended.
Numerous dates have been picked out before for the world to end on and it never happened on those days, so I think that this date will be just like the others. It will be a normal day.
