Curses, foiled again. | | Tennessee redident William K. Anderson, 51, tried to apply for welfare benefits in Lee County, Va., but was arrested after arousing suspicion by arriving in a 2004 H2 Hummer with Michigan plates. "We though it was unusual that a high-dollar vehicle with out-of-state tags would be at the department of social services," County Sheriff Gary Parsons said. "So we ran the tag and found out that it was stolen."

I mean to apply in such a way and have a stolen car right there where it would stick out like a sore thumb is just asinine. What was the man thinking; take that back he obviously wasn't thinking at all. At least the cops were thinking and checked it. I bet he's wishing now he had left the hummer at home.
