An ahhhh To Ra

I've been seeing those commercials also, and I have to say, they warmed the cockles of my heart too! There must be a lot more pagan in me from my Celtic roots than I thought - burn the Catholic guilt away Ra! Burn it I say!

I feel renewed, like a bud coming into flower. Cool!
Today I was out in my garden gently brushing the last of the winter debris from the white tulips now pushing through to the surface. I always work in my bare hands because I love the feel of the earth. I thought the soil would be much cooler than it was, as the snow has only been totally gone for a day or so, but it wasn't. It was warm enough to revel in and when I turned up my face to the sun, I finally felt that all was right with my world at that moment. Warming soil, new life, and the sun bright and gently bathing my patch of Eden.

Here's to Ra::raises beer:: Unfortunately, he raises a rather dangerous aspect for me. I enjoy frolicking and playing while taunting at them to add alittle excitement to my life. People who know me will now reminisce of the day I was at the beach taunting Diana and getting smacked with giant waves, both of us giggling like children. Apparently she finally saw fit to hit me with a big wave and rip my shorts off with the undertoe... in front of the Saturday Afternoon crowd of about 600 people.

However, I am wary of playing with Ra this way for fear he'll reach out from the sun with a radiation burst and burn me into a pepper, or worse, turn me into a mutant with superpowers that I'd then be forced to use anytime someone is in trouble and never have my own life again LOL.

Regardless, let that big orangish yellow globe shine BRIGHT!
