How do you deal with people who act jealous of you?

Why are some people so jealous? You can tell they are by the way they act and look at you.

i dont know if i should really deal with them cause it can be really nasty at times when you confront them cause you got a bit uncomfortable with what or with how they reacted with you.... Sometimes we just have to let them be. :) anyway, people gets jealous of you when they get insecure...
