What color are your kitchen cabinets? Would you ever paint them black?

I don't think I would ever paint mine black, I had my room black and white once though. My cabinets are some funky green color lol it was the color painted when we got here. I've been too lazy and left it as is. How do you like the black cabinets? I don't know about a red kitchen I wouldn't go there but that's just me. If you like it I say go for it.

I wouldn't paint my cabinets black. Too me that is too dark for a kitchen. I like sunshiney colors. I rent so I can't to much about the color of my cabinets which are light brown which isn't too bad.

Well, I personally don't have cabinets, because I don't have a house! I live with my mother, and her cabinets are a light wood, and I doubt she will ever paint them. I personally saw a picture in a magazine, of cabinets that were dark cherry wood, and they had glass doors on them. I thought they were gorgeous. I want to get cabinets like that, and paint my walls a robin's egg blue, just like in the picture. It was really pretty, and bright, I like bright! My bedroom is really bright. My boyfriend and I had always wanted to paint the walls like the colors of the flags of our heritage. One half of the room is a Irish flag, with orange (yes very bright too), white and green. The other half of the room is the Italian Flag, which is red, white and green. It looks really cool, because we made it look like the two flags connect at the far wall like puzzle pieces.
