 Last night my hubby and I rented The Assassination of Jesse James. I really wanted to see this movie because it was filmed in a city from where I use to live. I was very diappointed with the movie because we were pretty bored watching it and I feel like it's a whole 2 & 1/2 hours of my life I'll never get back! I thought the movie was going to be more interesting, more action and keep me on the edge of my seat. I was wrong about that. Also, I don't think Jesse James had the exciting life I thought he did. I usually like western movies but this one I would not recommend it to anyone.
Have you ever wanted to see a movie where they filmed it in your hometown or city and finally got to watch it, and found it was a flop?

It is disappointing to wait for a movie to be released, finally get to see it and not relate at all or enjoy it. That's why we wait for movies on DVD now days.

2.  SassyKittyKat (748) | 2 years ago |  Wow, I'm so glad that you posted this because I wanted to see that movie but now I think I won't. I am a major history, Jessie James and Billy The Kid lover but apparently they could have done much better with this one.
If you want to see a great one, you have to watch 3:10 To Yuma and American Outlaws. Now, these were awesome intense action packed movies! I definitely recommend them to you. If you have seen them or watch them, please, let me know what you think of them....

I did see 3:10 to Yuma and I loved that movie!!! I haven't heard of American Outlaws but I"ll look for it. There's another new Western Action movie that just came out this week called There shall be blood.. I think that's what it's called. I really wanted to see it and it was available but we rented The Assassination of Jesse James instead and I'm regreting it lol. I knew we should've rented the other one.

I liked it so well that I bought the movie as soon as it came out on DVD. Brad Pitt is from my city, so I'm a big fan.:) Sorry you didn't enjoy the film.
