 First of all, absolutely hilarious show. I just started watching this show a couple of months ago and it's phenominal. Quite honestly, it's funnier than the Simpson's which, judging from the movie, is on its way out and fast. The wit that was once there is no longer present. It's been replaced with the classic Simpsonisms that weren't funny after the first or second time you saw the show. Things like, "Bummer man" -Bart or "HAha" -the bully kid (I forget his name).
Sorry Simpson family, you're just not "in" anymore and I don't think there's any hope now that Family Guy has found its way to the top of funny adult cartoon shows. If you disagree, watch Family Guy tonight at 6:30pm (and every weekday night as well) on some channel, I forget which one. I only get about 5 channels of TV so I just flip around until I find it.

1.  babykeka80 (978) | 6 months ago |  It is funnier than the simpsons but has a lot of more adult situations that arent appropriate for children. The simpsons were much more kid friendly. That way adults and kids alike could enjoy them. I think that is a lot of what made them so popular. Family guy has been out a while and if it was going to be a huge phenomenon it already would have become one. Love the show but its never going to put up the numbers that the simpsons have over the best decade or so they have been around.

2.  jenni7202 (950) | 6 months ago |  I like Family Guy. I don't really like the Simpson's though, although my boyfriend does. I just don't think it's funny, in fact, I think it's sort of boring. Family Guy on the other hand, cracks me up. I don't watch it all the time, only on rare occasion when I'm flipping through channels and I notice it's on. I definitly don't go looking for it. I'm not the TV type of person, I'm more the movie watcher.

God I love this show.And the channel your thinking about is cartoon network(adultswim)it's on at 11-12 where I leave.

4.  marababe (1642) | 6 months ago |  I enjoy watching Family Guy than the Simpson's. Family Guy's waaay funnier. LOL. But there are more sensitive languages and "for adults" scenes. So if you're like 13 or something you have to watch with adult supervision. Cheers!

My eldest likes it a lot though, and he will often stay up late to watch it, he is 16 though so it would probably appeal to him a lot more.
