What Is Your Fondest Childhood Memory?

Hi Rockvixen what a wonderful topic to share. My favourite childhood memory is one of playing in the rockpools on family holidays in Devon and Cornwall with my younger brother. I remember he always had red swimming trunks, no matter what his age he had red ones for some strange reason, another fond memory is fishing with my grandfather along the canal where we lived which my son does with his grandfather whenever we visit. From my childhood memory of wonderful times on the beach I decided then on that one day I would live there and eight years ago this dream came true and I live in Devon within a few minutes walk of the beach so hopefully these memories will continue with my children as they love the beach too.
