Have you ever ended in burnt french fries?

I prepare french fries at my home very often..I have no problem with the recipe..But yesterday I ended up with burnt french fries which I was unable to give to my toddler.Do you have any such eperience? Have you ever messed up with your preparation or burnt it?

it happened on me twice especially if i have so many things to do while i'm cooking my fries. i suggest that you shouldn't give some french fries to your toddler since it has so many grease. but if you wanted to give him some carbs using potatoes, why not try a mashed potato. it's really really good and your kid's gonna love it too

The same thing happens with me too. Sometimes I become pre-occupied..My mind may be full of other thoughts and leave the french fries unnoticed..At times, I may be overloaded with kitchen works and burn the fries..By the way, thank you so much for your concern over my toddler. Nowadays I stopped giving him french fries. As you have suggested I'll try with mashed potato..
