how to prepare your lesson

I am a science techer,I often prepare my listen on the day befoe I give the class. Empirical teachers often told me that I shoule prepare a lesson on the day near the day I give the class,then I will not forget the contents.

But now I think I should prepare them on more early days,then I can conlude the theory in advance and will not be nevers.
