I make my tea by first heating water and then adding the tea leaves till the color of the solution becomes golden brown. I add only a little milk and after some time strain/filter it into a cup and add sugar.
I dont like very mily tea though.
How do you make your tea?

I like to make my tea with sugar only. I've never understood the concept of adding milk to tea. Maybe I'm trying it with the wrong flavors?

You;re right. Flavoured tea is best black. Plain tea tastes pretty good with a touch of milk.

Well I don't have a tea strainer so I use tea bags. I usually heat a cup of water in the microwave and then add my teabag. I sometimes leave it in for the first couple of sips but by then it is done and I take the tea bag out so as not to bitter the teal.. That's what I was taught anyway. I am more of a coffee drinker but right now I have to get up and make a cup of Vanilla Honey tea..Thanks for giving me the idea....I was thinking about making a cup of cappuccino but tea sounds simply delightful right now...
Brightest Blessings, Mari

Vanilla Honey tea sounds exotic - how do you make it.
I do have tea bags but use it only when I dont have tea leaves.

I had the flavor wrong...lol It is Vanilla Caramel Truffle by Lipton. It's great it's in their new pyramid bags. They are kind of mesh like and it has real bits of caramel in the bag...just the smell alone is good...hehe You must find it and try it..It's so so good...lol

I boil the kettle with fresh water, before the kettle fully boils I pour a little drop of water into the tea pot and swirl the water round to warm the teapot. I then put four teaspoons of tea leaves into the teapot and when the water has boiled I pour the water from the kettle into the teapot on top of the tea leaves. I put the teapot lid on and put the tea cosy on the teapot. I then go to the fridge and get the milk out. I pour a little drop of milk into my teacup and replace the milk back into the fridge so it doesn't go off. I remove the tea cosy and tea pot lid and stir the tea with a teaspoon. I then pour the tea into my teacup, stir my tea and make sure it is the correct shade of brown. I then sit down, put my feet up and enjoy my lovely cup of tea.
