The hardest jigsaw puzzle I have ever worked on I did years ago with my mother. It was probably 500 or 750 pieces. The colors were all various shades of brown and it was of the famous painting of the fife and drummer and other soldier from the Revolutionary War with George Washington. Just getting the border together was a challenge because of the colors and because the puzzle pieces themselves were not the normal shapes. They were the more curvey kind instead of the tongue in groove type. There were many inside pieces that looked much like border pieces. What was the hardest puzzle you have ever put together? Why was it hard?

The hardest puzzle I did was quite a few years ago. It was a 2000 pcs jigsaw puzzle. It was a picture of a famous building but half of the puzzle is the blue sky and the colour is the same...I spent about half a year to complete the whole puzzle...
