Paypal at this time does not support PTC's. Alert pay does have a higher fee and we are looking at other payment processors but right now AlertPay offers what we need. I did get your message on a forum. You're right I do not have the time to set that up and moderate it. If you would like to do so, you are more than welcome to. As you can see Etwac is trying to be the most trusted PTC.
In order to do that we are in need of advertisers as well as members.
one thing that ETWAC offers is the opportunity to advertise to people who are brand new to PTC's. Right now we estimate about 10% of our members are new to PTC and money making opportunities on the web. They are able to do this through specific marketing to a certain demographic. They are goin to be kicking that promotion into high gear in the next 1 to 2 weeks.

Also, If you know a ministry that would like to advertise and be gauranteed that people will view their page tell them about ETWAC. ETWAC is the only openly known Christian run PTC site there is.

nicetalk, I understand your concern about someone like me who is involved in ministry starting a web site. What about my ministry, what about the site. All of these are valid questions.
I cannot guarantee that someone won't come along and wipe out the site by hacking into it. I don't declare that EVERYONE else is trust worthy. I just say that I am. If that was to happen then I will let everyone know what happened. I keep backup of the site and do the best I can to keep that from happening.
It is better to say that and keep all of my members notified of issues than to hide them and hope no one notices. If for some reason I had to close the site I have made preparation to see to it that people get paid. It may take longer, but I am a man of my word.
As all of you know these site rely on Advertising from its members and other locations. without that a PTC cannot continue. I can only do as well as the advertising does.
Will it get busy? Sure. But at the same time I am not the only one running the site. And when it gets busier I have others who have volunteered to help out. Just like with any business, if you are not wanting to grow the get out of business. If you want to grow than prepare for growth.
As far as my ministry, This is a great way to reach people for Jesus Christ. I have an audience of over 400 members that I can reach. Ministry does not have to happen just in the church, it happens whereever you are.

Nice to see that you are realistic and not so naive. Why I say that? Because many times I see those who think they are very religious start to venture in a business without proper plan and preparation. When somebody tell them about it, often they'll just say that those bad things won't happen to them for God will lead them and protect them all the way.

Guess what? Most of them eventually crashed leaving much debts and having their reputation ruined. Unfortunately, not only their reputation: their crashes also give bad name to christianity for they brought their christian identity when starting the business.

I am not against those who want to start to minister in the market place through business or something like that. But is it too hard to understand that we too have our part to do? If we bear the name of Jesus, than we should be very careful in any venture we do. Otherwise we'll become stumbling blocks to others from coming to Him. God bless.

I do understand your concerns. However, if as PTC owner I want people to know who I am, I must tell them the most important part about me, my Christianity. Without that they will not not really know me. One thing that I do on ETWAC is I disclose anything going on. If for instance we are not getting the support we need from advertisers then I will inform the members. I am not trying to hide anything from anyone. I also have set up a backup plan to pay members, as I mention before. However, there is always a risk when you start a business. Most people understand that risk. Just a suggestion: instead of ptc, why don't you consider to make somekind of paid-games instead? You can create a simple online game: you provide a map for people to wander around. In their adventure they can find some valuable "gems". The gems could contain sentences or bible-phrases that when combined will give simple and clear description about biblical truths, salvation, etc (make it like a puzzle for instance). People who manage to find those "gems" and can comprehend it will then be awarded, maybe after successfully passing several simple quizzes:)

Why I suggest this? Because afaik, most people who click in ptc sites only interested in finishing clicking the ads as soon as possible. They even hardly bother to read the ads (that's including me, lol). Some of them click in 4-5 ptc sites at once so there is no way they will pay attention to the ads.

Ok, I know to implement it is not as easy as to say it. I just want to share my thought with you:)

As far as ads, I too have been in PTC's for a while. I will say there are some ads that grab my attention and others that don't. Just like on TV there are sometimes I will watch the ad and other times I will flip channels during the commercials. The idea is, the more someone sees a product the more likely they are to buy. Average is 7 times. If you see something for 7 times you are much more likely to buy. Unless of coarse the ad just turns people away.

One thing about our site here is the fact that we are getting a larger portion of NON-PTC member than most other sites. That number will soon be increasing. As a matter of fact it was suggested by our administration team to hold the current ads, build up the non ptc base to about 50% and then start the ads back up.
What will that do? That will make the site much more appealing to advertisers AND in turn give you our members a much more secure and longer lasting site. That is what we all want. We all want a PTC site that not only is trust worthy but also one that provides more ads to click.
