specific episode...need help remembering  | |  a friend and i were discussing law and order episodes and we both remember there being one show where Adam Schiff actually went into the court room near the end of the show and addressed the court himself. does anyone else remember this?

There was the one episode where Schiff did not want to seek the death penalty and the Governor wanted him to so used some special clause to put a state lawyer in to try it. Schiff went to court to try and appeal it.
I hope that helps. It's the only one that is coming to mind where he went into the court room. Now I admit I haven't seen every single episode but I have seen most but I could have missed the one you are thinking of.
