make a difference

What it mean realy? I think that if you can help one, only one,so you do the difference for this one.I think that make a difference is not only do big things because life is made by little things. No matter what kind of you can help, animals,plants,nature or all planet, because if you help a little earthworm you will do a big difference for this earthworm. Well, this is my opinion so what you think?

I think you are right. Making a difference doesn't mean you have to make big difference for the world to see. And besides, you cannot change most part of the world, especially the people in it.
The only thing you have all the right to change is yourself. Start by acting more kindly, talk to people more pleasantly, smile a lot. I think that makes a difference.
