finishing a college course... is it still necessary?

If you can afford then finish it. But as you mentioned of bill gates and unders billionnaires, college degree is not a guarantee of financial success. Financial success has something to do with financial education and financial intelligence as mentioned by Robert Kiyosaki!

While it is true that there are success stories about people who've made it to the top despite not having a college degree, I believe that getting yourself one would still be important. One of the subjects I teach is Entrepreneurship and in this subject, I present from time to time success stories of well known local and foreign entrepreneurs and business tycoons. I admit that most of the successful entrepreneurs and businessmen were not able to get themselves a college degree. What is worth note-taking however is that most of them suggest that the youth of today must give premium to their studies because if people like them made it that far without a degree, those WITH degrees would definitely be doing better. More often than not, what really makes one successful is not just what they learn within the four walls of their classrooms but such success can be improved or sustained with those that we learn in school.

I think it's important to finish a college course. I guess that Bill Gates became a billionaire not because he drop out of the school but because he is Bill Gates.Do you agree to that? People obtain professional knowledge and basic training in college for their future career. And also get social experience and establish relationships during college life. What's more, you can take advantage of the rich resource in the library. All these will do good to the development of your personality and ability.

Bill Gates is just one success story out of how many of us doing the middle class thing. In my opinion, the college degree is now what the high school diploma used to be. When I was job hunting, I can't begin to tell you how many jobs wanted the college degree, even if it wasn't directly related to what the job entailed. I think the degree is very important now.

I thought he went to Harvard...maybe I'm mistaken.

College is important. It's harder to find a job, even receptionists at some places are required to have Bachelor's degree's.
With the job market, higher education can set you apart from others. I would feel more secure with it than without it!

well as you yourself know, not everybody can be a Bill Gates (maybe one in a billion) and though college degrees is not a guarantee for financial success in life, it is always good to finish your education. If you are from the middle-class working segment, then education always pays for us. It is our guarantee that no matter what happens, we will have a chance of getting a decent job and will not have to make ends meet by doing odds and ends as completely unskilled labourers. Also, if you have education in you, you always stand a chance of improving your professional skills in your job area as literacy helps you understand various work areas better. It also earns you respect (even if you are not super-rich) and that matters a lot too!

I think it's important for us to finish it,Bill Gates is one of the successful men, but I think there are many people who get succeed through college,right?And for me,I'm a student majored in clinical medicine,so it's necessary for me to finish my college life!

Bill Gate is a genious and less you are making money like he did atthat age ya probably better finish!
