Do you take Anxiety Medication? Have you take Effexor?  |

 I have had problems with anxiety my whole life. I have tried Celexa and Clonazepam but neither of them really did much of anything for me. Yesterday I went to the doctor and she prescribed me Effexor. She said that she wants me to try this pill for at least 3 weeks and see if it will do anyhting to help me. I am interested in hearing from anyone who has taken this medication. Please tell me of any side effects you experienced, and how well you felt that this medication worked for you. Did it make you feel alot better? How long did it take before you started to notice a difference?

| Nykkee (1418) | 3 months ago | Well I have the little pamphlet here that you get when you pick the pills up at the pharmacy, it lists the side effects of Effexor to be: - may decrease appetite - may cause dryness of mout - may cause dizziness - may cause either drowsiness or exciteability - may cause nausea or rarely vomiting. Then it goes on to say how each person reacts differently and crap. Celexa just made me shake for the first few day and then did crap all for the next 3 months. I don't think it made me gain weight, I don't think it did anything.

3.  grunge_avenged (222) | 3 months ago |  Well I used to take Effexor XR .. Is that the same thing? Either way I cant really help you because I did not take it for a long enough time. I found the pills really large .. And I was supposed to increase my dose from 2 pills a day to 4 which was pretty ridiculous!

| Nykkee (1418) | 3 months ago | That might have just been due to the dose. Right now I have 37.5 mg pills and i take 2 because I only took one for ethe first 5 days when I get another bottle I expect they will be 75mg so I will only have ot take one. | |

I was suffering from Panic and anxiety attacks for a long time and i did not take meds as meds have got great side effects which is not good. Instead i manage to recover by few tips and training which i practice even today and i am living happily. Its all because of this person " Joe Berry" whose ebook is a life changing and most admird by whole world. I am now like a free bird and enjoying my life becasue of his ebook.
