are there many women smoking in your country?

Smoking is no biggie in our country. Women smoke here in public places. All of the girls in my group smokes. I used to smoke but I stopped because I had asthma. If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Is your country very conservative? :0)

There are many many women smoking in my country; me included. I am quitting though. My quit date is Monday. I quit once before and stayed off for a little over a year, but then relapsed. It's a tough habit to break and I would think your women lucky to not have to struggle with the addiction. It's definitely not pleasant!

Both men & women smoke here (Australia). Though I do think more women smoke then men do. These days, more people are giving up & less kids are taking it up, which is good. I used to be a smoker until I first fell pregnant. I stopped because I did not want my baby to be affected by it. That was 14 years ago. After I gave up, I found I wasn't waking up in a coughing fit each morning & I had more stamina (didn't get puffed out as quickly).
