Do you know someone who was an innocent victim?

I was feeling kinda bummed and lethargic this morning. I finally realized that this marks the anniversary of Tim McVeigh's terrorist attack on the federal building in Oklahoma City. My mom and my sister were working just blocks from the bombing. My sister thought it was an earthquake, or that one of the jets from nearby Tinker Air Force Base had crashed into downtown. My mom, who worked a little farther away, but in a building facing the direction of the blast, said that the entire front of the building (plate glass windows that rose three stories up) exploded inward. It was an extremely rare moment when nobody was in the lobby or walking across the walkways on the second and third floor. The closest to the flying glass was the lobby receptionist who had bent under her desk to pick up something she'd dropped. I didn't know until later that the sister of a friend of mine, who worked as a daycare employee in the federal building, died in the blast. Do you know anybody who died tragically, and for no good reason other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time?
