Which part is the most important for makeup?

As with most things, I think it is important to get the foundation right, and then everything else should follow. This is true whether it is cheeks, eyes, whatever.

It is important to apply moisturiser first, allow it to soak into the skin so that creams and powders applied to the skin go on well and do not flake.

With eyes, I like to put on a smooth layer of a pale colour, cream or even white. Then build the colour from there.

Most days i will put make up on...its very rare that I dont....
But the one thing that I would say that I would never leave off is my lipstick...
without it I feel bare.....a while ago I was wearing quite a deep pink one ...it was a beautiful colour..but I think maybe as im a little more mature ive tone it down a bit...and wear a paler shade.
I do use foundation and blusher...and though i love to see eyes that are nicely made up ..I dont like to put too much on mine..they are a wee bit crinkly!!!
the shadow gets into the crinkles....so from my point of view I just use a tiny bit of colour on them....then add a good amount of mascara...the mascara I find makes my eyes look wider...more open...I use black mascara.....

I agree,i also think the eyes are more important.If you enhance natural beauty of your eyes,everything else will come in place. The mascara must be just right,too! Foundation is important for some people,i might use a tiny dab of concealer but i don't like liquid powder or anything like that. And i almost never use lipstick.
Do you always use perfume after prettying yourself up?:)

I am not qualified to answer this question -
for one I do not wear any make up
the maximum is a dab of powder and a sticker on my forehead.
But I would love to wear make up on special occasions.
When I go to weddings I apply a moisturiser and then some powder so that my face would not look terribly dull and oily[in this hot weather especially and when we wear those heavy silk sarees].
When I was young I used to apply an eye liner for my eyes.
One thing which I would like to know is how to hide the black spots on my face.
Regarding priority i feel that each individual should concentrate on the part of the face that she needs touching up.
For e.g. if you have a very clear complexion that does not look oily soon, you can give it a mild treatment. If your lips need greater care you can devote greater attention to this.
If it is your eyes which you feel, need enhancing then greater time should be devoted to it.
I am horrible in doing my hair. I devote extra time to this if and when the need arises.

Yep, I believe most of us do agree that eyes are the most important part for makeup. Eyes, so called the windows of the soul,are always the most attractive parts of the face . There are most features like eyebrow, eyelid, upper and lower part of eyelash, eyeliner, highlight and ... around the eye part to be cared of. That’s why we need to pay more attention and take longer time on them when doing any makeup.

I agree I spend most time on my eyes as well then the lips too.

You are right, the eyes has to be makeup first before other parts of the face. In addition the sensitives part of our body need to be taking proper care of before other parts

Hi youless! I do agree with you. When the eyes are beautifully done, it usually brings out the best in one's personality. The eyes are the ones that I always have difficulty in doing. i agree with you.in fact,i focus on eyes and spend the most time on it when i make up.i pay little attention to other parts and only have thin lipstick after that.

For me.. a good foundation is the most important thing in applying your makeup.. and yes, I agree that this creates a good canvas for the rest of the stuff that you have to put on..the next thing is the eyes.. since from there.. you could create a whole new set of looks that you want to achieve.. you could also play with different colors so the possiblities are endless..
