Favourite Dio Song?

I like a lot of his stuff. I think "Rainbow in the Dark" is among my favorites.

Ronnie James Dio has a long history in music. He started off with a modestly sucessful band called Elf, but I am not familiar with any of their material. The only thing I know is that Elf (with Dio) opened up or toured with Deep Purple, & that was how Richie Blackmore met Dio. When Richie Blackmore left Deep Purple to go out on his own, first person he called as his vocalist was Dio, & they did two albums together. My favorite from that era was Man On The Silver Mountain (closely followed by Catch The Rainbow). After Dio & Blackmore parted, he went on to replace Ozzy in Black Sabbath. It was actually meant to be some kind of a Tony Iommi project (I believe they wanted to use the name Heaven And Hell.), but the record company forced them to release the albums under the Black Sabbath name. Personal favorite of mine is Voodoo. He has reunited with Tony Iommi for tours, & called themselves Heaven & Hell. From his solo career, my personal favorite is Rainbow In The Dark. That is from his holy Diver album.
