How To Change Preferences?  |

 I post a comment one of the discussions from my email notification (inbox) and my paragraph says:
i agree with you. she is really insecure about their relati*nship with his boy friend. how can a g*y get the attention of a man that seems she might think will replace her. What a funny situation. If i am the boy friend i don't know if i forgive her. She is degrading her personality among your fellow workers.
After i hit the Post Response Button it says:
Your entry contains content of a mature nature. You have selected to not view content of a mature nature. If you would like to proceed as written, you must first change your preferences to allow mature content. Otherwise please reword your submission and try again. which word i wrote why they system instruct me to change my preference?If i change my preference what particular features i am going to change? My age their is 31 is it considered young? LOL
I don't know how and i am little bit confused.
First hit of the button start discussion
the comment still the same so i change some words into asterisk (*) if it works.

1.  Irishfrndly65 (1212) | 3 months ago |  I just posted about this and got a response to solve the problem. Click on 'edit your preferences', scroll down to where it allows you to change your password. There will be a little box there that you can check to accept mature content. Hope that helps.
This happened to me too and I never specified one way or the other, so not sure why it came up that way.

 myklj999 (2853) | 3 months ago |  It automatically stops mature content when you first set up your account. You have to choose it to allow it; I guess that's so as not to offend people who don't know about it at first.

| 2. drknlvly6781 (1732) | 3 months ago |  Maybe they paid more attention to your screen name than your age lol. To allow mature content to be viewed is quite simple. First go to edit your preferences, which is located among the green links on the left-hand pane. Then, click "Account information, which will be at the top of the screen. Once you get there, scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see a check box that says "Allow mature content". All you have to do is click that, and you shouldn't run into this problem anymore.
What has got me puzzled is, what is mature about saying "I agree with you"? I guess the discussion is of a mature nature, and they aren't allowing you to post to it because you don't have the mature content checked.

3.  YorkieBear (982) | 3 months ago |  That happened to me to and I had to ask the same question. You need to change your preferences to allow for mature content. To do so go to edit your preferences. Then go into account information and at the very bottom to the right of confirm new password check the box that says allow mature content and then click update.

I'm pretty sure you just go into edit your preferences, and it should be under one of the tabs there. I'm not completely sure though, because I did this over a month ago! I hope you can figure it out soon, so you won't have to worry about using astericks, and what not.
