I am remembering those cooking shows in which someone is given one ingredient or a list of ingredients and then is told to make a dish or meal out of them... Wondering if you ever have watched these cooking shows? If you have watched these shows or even if you just like the idea of a challenge... Here is one for you... What would you make with: a container of firm tofu, a small amount of frozen veggies (spinach mostly and a little bit of peas and corn) a small amount of crushed pineapple, a can of coconut milk, a box of tomato sause some pasta of the fettuchine or rigatoni variety, a can of garbanzo beans, a can of refried beans, some vegitable broth, some frozen raspherries, whole wheat flour, 3 eggs butter, olive oil and or canola oil I have also a lot of spices to choose from... Does anyone have any suggestions for a possible menu using only the ingredients listed? Remember that you need use only the ingredients that you wish to use from this list... Ready. Get set. Let the Contest begin. The one who comes up with a menu that I can use will get best response. All other participants will get good ratings... my promise.

I like your menu idea! It is a pity that I did not know how to make a good cake... I am, as you know, not a great baker and cook like yourself. I must admit that I was faced with these items when i looked inside your kitchen. I ended up finding somehthing up on the top shelf of the cupboard that I had not seen earlier... Rice, just a little bit of it but enough. I was eager to try this contest myself with or without the added ingredient of rice and the water that I mentioned earlier had been omitted accidently from the original list. I grabbed the can of garbonzo beans, grabbed the box of tomato sauce threw them together into a pan, added water and spices and a little of the vegetable broth and cooked until the rice was done. The spices used were garlic powder, curry powder, black pepper, tummeric, salt... It was tasty and I have plenty of leftovers to eat later in the week. It would have been good even without the rice but the rice made it filling. Now, I will have to look at what is left in the cupboard and in the freezor and refrigerator and try to come up with other things to make. All ideas are welcome.

Well the list of ingredients did include a lot of items.... I think that flour and eggs and water which I probably should have added might be okay with a little spice like cinnemon. You are right that flour and eggs by themselves will not do much. I think you are right... I am going to need more than luck!
