Does anyone know why in some countries that they do circumsions on females? Whats the reason for it?

i have no idea.. is there a country that practice this? as far as i know women doesn't have a prepuse to remove..

as far as i understand some people in africa still practise this female circumsion, i dont know the reason why thou.
