I am also wondering whether it pays or not, generallyi do not put tags , I hope it does not have any effect on the ratings..

i guess it doesn't do anything with our earnings and i always skip those tags lol they just put the tags in order to be easily seen by other mylotters

No, filling in that section will not effect your earnings but it is so that you can find a discussion if you are looking for something special. I don't always fill these tags out as I don't always have something that I feel is correct.

i'm not sure it really adds anything to your profits-i think it's more for the search engine than anything else..i fill it out most of the time,but once in a while i skip it because i can't think of anything fitting.

Hi shannonjyl. You need to tag with the interest name of discussion. It is only to get it easy to people find some discussion. But if you add a tag with your own tag maybe it can be add to other discussions when mylot manager the tags. I don't tag every time, only when I remember the name of interest of discussion.

I don't think it does, either. Sometimes I don't bother adding tags, and it hasn't affected my earnings.

At first i did tag everything that i discussed and then later i started skipping them when i would have more that one tab open at a time and i would switch back and forth in my lots. Now i just tag the ones that are really important other than that i skip it. The important stuff is in what you speak on.
