What Do You Do with the Unwanted Calls and SMS Messages ?

I am from India.Now adays with the icrease in the cell phone numbers in our country the service providers have also become increased.And these people are useing cell phones as the one of the best medium to approach people in person and they are advertising on these phones either by making calls or by sending SMS messages. We receive so many calls every day that it becomesbig head ache. Calls especally become big menace when you are either really busy or engaged with some important work! Same way SMS messages leave our inbox full if we are not attending them to delete for acouple of days 1 It is really a big problem. Tjough the government is saying that some initive will be taken to stop these types of unwanted calls nothing has been done so far. under such conditions I only pick up the phone if it is from my phone book or i don't even pick it up! Same way I just delete the junk SMS messages once in 2 days ! How about you? Do you face similsr problems and how do you tackle them ? Thanks !
