ihearttinytim (448) | 2 years ago | OCD= Obssessive Compulsive Disorder. Most who suffer from this wash their hands too often.

potrish78 (402) | 1 year ago | Yikes! Now I am convinced I'm an OC. That explains why my hands are not as soft as a baby even if I'm not doing some household chores compared to my friends.

3. dumblnddzzy (10307) | 2 years ago | You really need to start drinking lots of water. Your skin if it is cracking is dehydrated severly. I had this problem once & once i started drinking tons of water my skin quit cracking.. I know it hurts too & you can get all kinds of bacteria in the skin so be careful...Lori

5. MGjhaud (3529) | 2 years ago | Try looking for hand lotion or hand gel in some cosmetic store that has Moisturizer. It helps dry skin to smoothen or what. I've always been using alcohol actually instead of hand gel and my alcohol has moisturizer in it.

8. monishavakil (947) | 1 year ago | hey i had exactly the same problem and it was horrible, it was reallyuncomfortable till i stopped using scented creams. They make no sense but smell good. The best thing i would say would be vasaline. It really works. Especially before you go to bed and in the morning after your shower. Try it out sure it should work for you.

dangnabit67 (558) | 1 year ago | Do you just put rub the vasaline in or is this a type of lotion?

9. iyah10 (2981) | 1 year ago | If your hand is really Dry then you could try the Petroleum Jelly everyday and if you will feel it a little bit better than before then try the Vaseline lotion........

dangnabit67 (558) | 1 year ago | with the jelly its really greasy-you do that at night with a glove on?
| |
|
|
potrish78 (402) | 1 year ago | I agree! petroleum jelly helps specially for very very dry skin. Don't worry about the greasy after feel, you would only use petroleum jelly at night before bedtime it should not bother you. I've been using it for my feet since I always wear sandals at work and my work really requires me to walk most of the time. So imagine how dry my feet could be. Only petroleum jelly helped even with the cracked heels. Good luck in your search!

10. donna22 (629) | 1 year ago | I really recommend The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector. You only need to use small amount and this will really help to soften your hands. You can also get some cotton gloves to wear with the cream overnight.
