You can't have it both ways!

I have written many relationship Articles over the years and I am a very strong advocate of honest relationships. Meaning I see the flaws on both sides and don't just sit here and constantly point the finger at guys and blame them for everything going wrong.
This is what I have noticed over my years as an adult female. I listen to the females around me and most of them now feel that they are better then man, or can do anything a guy can do. We complain that we have to work, but it was the female movement that went out of wack. In todays Economy you are more then lucky if one income can feed a household, put kids through school etc.
We want to be woed, but we don't want to be imposed on.
We want to be protected, but don't tell us what to do.
We want to be loved, but you better give us our freedom.
We want the guys to be man, but be SENSITIVE. (If you meet a very sensitive guy that cries at every chickflick, wants to hold your hand every second off the day and spurt gaga BS all the time AFTER the honeymoon period is over you may want to check if he is either a "sissy at heart (crossdresser)"), because honestly Men are not hard wired that way.
We want them to change to become OUR idea of perfect, after we told them that we LOVE Them. If you loved him, then you wouldn't want to change him. There always will be a few things that annoy you about his behavior, but leave him alone. Tell him ONCE what you don't like and then drop the subject. Instead of Changing HIM, how about changing YOURSELF into the sort of spouse you would want to come home to. I bet you anything he will sooner or later start wanting to Please you as well.
So we say one thing, behave one way and do another. Can't have it both ways. Either really try to be a "female" in the more or less archtypical way and then you can ask a male to be a man. Otherwise, you will have to make due. Can't have TWO males bosses in a hetro relationship and if you already took the part, well I guess all he is now is a d@#k. Still wondering why he acts like one?
