Look at that doggy in the window

I love my dog don't get me wrong. But sometimes I wish we had left him behind that window, instead of taking him home. I never get a moments piece. He follows me everywhere. I can't even go to the bathroom without him. If I walk to feet he will walk to feet. Do you understand? My puppy had major seperation issues. We got him when he was 4 months old. From that moment on we can't leave him alone. We bought him a kennel which he chewed through. He ripped up the kitchen linolium. Pukes all over the place and poops. He gets him self so upset that he is a ball of nerves when we get home even if we are gone for 2 min.
We can't even go out for dinner without getting a babysitter for the dog. Any suggestions. I have tried putting a blanket over the kennel before I leave but this doesn't work. Please help.
