Do you over or under pack when you go away on vacation?

When I go on vacation I bring my handbag and my suitcase. I never bring more than one suitcase, because I often have to walk a lot, and I don't like to carry a lot of luggage. I have often travelled on my own, and I have learned from my experience. In the beginning I often over packed and I got really tired of walking around with a lot of luggage for instanse when I had to find a hotel room in a new town. It is so much easier to bring one suitcase and my handbag. I can't pack everything that I want, but that is okay as long as I bring the most important things.

whenever we go on travel for a vacation, i always over pack. i just think that it better for us to have lots of reserve clothing because we can never tell what may happen on our vacation..

When I travel I take a backpack and a day pack plus my handbag. I try to travel lightly but never manage to do this and usually my backpack is too heavy. I like to take clothes and washing powder so I can wash them when I am away. I also like to have my travel washing line with me. I take shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste/ brush, mirror, comb, deodrant and contact lenses. I like to take my snorkeling mask if I will be going to a coral reef. I try to take a few snacks to eat like rice cakes, nuts and dried fruit. Yes, I also buy things when I am traveling, like postcards and costume dolls. Now I have a baby son he needs more things when we are traveling than I do. This year we are going to Latvia and I wonder if packing will be challenging when we are only allowed 15kg of luggage in one piece between us.

when i go on vacation. i pack more than what i need. i might change my mind when it comes to what to wear. there an emergency might arise. i do it to stay prepared for the unexpected.

When i travel i dont believe i Over pack, as i usually only bring one bag, a little bit bigger then the average student sized back pack. Ive had my fair share of traveling experience so i kinda just judge off past experiences, what i could of brang along, what i could of left behind. etc. life is a learning process after all!

i usually pack more than i need when i go on vacations. but i never full up the bag because i know i will buy something later in the vacation spot. so my trick is a huge bag with some clothes (enough for the time ill spent there). anyway i think it is a common thing to do, to buy something at the vacation spot.at least a typical thing from the country. for example. when i went to Argentina i bought 3 jackets of fur. its a typical item there. i ate a lot o cow meat there, they say they have the best meat in the world =)
