"Live as you will wish to have lived when you are dying."
By: Christian Furchtegott Gellert
Before I read this quote, I was just thinking about how I waste too much time doing things that will never be beneficial to me. It is good to hang out and socialize with friends. But I need to spend at least a little more time doing things for my future.
I am 38 years old and there are still things that I would like to do and be. I have got to get on the ball. Does this quote give you the same kind of feeling of urgency? Share your feelings, please.

Hi Rozie dear! I did have a moment of reflection when I read the quote. I guess somehow, I was imagining my last day and trying to think if I have some regrets on how i have lived and if there are still dreams that I still want to reach. Then I realized that I have still a lot of things I want to accomplish, my relationships and my future. Although things are a little alright somehow but I think they could be better. I think it is somehow nice to be reminded once again. Thanks for sharing this. Just my thoughts dear friend! Take care and have a nice day!

It really came across to me at the perfect time. I am the type of person who always wants to be constantly moving forward and doing things that are going to help me be a better person. I know that there are a lot of situations that God puts me in where I feel that I am wasting my time, but God is actually teaching me and molding me into what he wants me to be. I need to try to remember that when I get restless.

That is a great quote! I have never heard it before, but it is so true. I have sometimes thought about if I was dying, whether or not I would have regrets about my life or wish that I had done something differently. I would like to think that I wouldn't have those thoughts, but I'm not really sure. I definitely think that quote is good to keep in mind, because I do think that life is short and we should not take it for granted.
