its the reputation. reputation is calculated how you are raed by other members here.its calculated on scale of 100.now there is panic among few of us about it as some trolls are arting us negative.

I don't pay much attention to the stars. As the last person said it is a rating out of one hundred that other members have decided based on whether they have rated your contribution to the discussion. There is alot of abuse to the system where people are rating negatively for inappropriate reasons. My star has varied between a 4 and a 10. Do not let it bother you as most of us here will read a discusion before even noticing the star!

It is how useser rate the quality of the discussions you post and the discussions you respond to so out of 100 post so many people have given you a positive rating. Your star is supposed to reflect on people how well you write respond and post, So basically it would be like this if You posted a discussion about cakes and someone else posted a discussion about cakes they are a 10 and you are a 6 they are most likley to respond to the 10 and not the 6 because 10 is a better quality according to the people of mylot, but considering some idiot is going around and star rayping people no one really bothers with it anymore.
