I'm looking for some feedback on non-traditional law students. Are you one? Do you know of any. I've considered getting a law degree and I'd like to know of anybody who's done it or know of anybody who did.

I'm a non-traditional law student who graduates in 28 days. What do you want to know?

Did you go through Kaplan or an on-line university. Also, how long can you take to complete your degree and congrats!

I am attending a brick and mortar law school as a non-traditional student (this means I did not go straight to law school from college. It is the usual meaning of non-traditional when talking about law students). Do NOT under any circumstances attend an online school. They are NOT accredited by the ABA. The only state that lets you take the bar if you attend an unaccredited law school is California. Those who do not attend an accredited law school have an abysmal bar passage rate. So, basically, you will pay a lot more money to attend one of these schools then not be able to practice as an attorney. If you want to be an attorney, either go part-time to a brick and mortar law school, or suck it up and go full-time. Either way, a brick and mortar school is the only way to get a decent legal education. If you go part-time, it takes you 4 years to get your degree. If you go full-time only 3 years. I went full-time.
