Hey my lotters my babies baptism will be on May 11, 2008. Now I'm not the person that plans parties etc.....
Can you guys help me out.
This is what i have in mind:
After the baptism, if the church allows me, they have a big room where I can have my guest sit and eat. Basically I will just have to buy the food and the plates etc....
what do you guys think?
what did you guys do for your child's baptism, if you will like to share or if you are a party planner what do you have in mind?

That is pretty much what I want to do, it's simple and affordable. Good to know someone else have done this before. One more question (like I said I don't know anything about planning events) how many guest seem appropriate for a baptism? Does it matter?

For baptism, i dont think many need to be invited, just our close relations wud do..i dint even invite my friends..yeah, i also invited some of the important church members (dont forget to do that)..since the time was around 11 a.m., we gaev them all lunch...if u r going to have in the evening, just a snack or a sweet and a drink wud do...its not a very big function to spend a lot..but if u an afford, u can provide dinner..there is nothing to plan much, just make him/her look beautiful, dress her in white, put her a beautiful white frock and if possible, a small wreath and socks and cute bunny shoes..u just need to take her to the altar (just stay there), the pastor or priest will take care of the rest of the things
