Do you enjoy seeing "Where they are now?" The Outsiders...  | |  I enjoy looking through those "Where are they now?" things and found one tonight for "The Outsiders". Remember that movie? I loved that movie...I must have been one of the "prepubescent girls" of which the slideshow speaks...rofl!
Anyway...did you know Tom Cruise was in that movie? I didn't, until he showed up on the slideshow- and to be honest, I will have to see it again to believe it...haha. (Apparently it was a bit part. I didn't really know or care who he was until Top Gun. Funny how that feeling has come full circle...ha).
Something else of interest- this was Harrison Ford's first movie, and he was only in it because he happened to be doing construction on I-forget-whose house and was invited by him to play a small part in the movie. Talk about fate...sheesh!

His first movie was "Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round" and it was an uncredited role. His first credited one was "A Time for Killing" in 1967. I did know Tom Cruise was in there along with Patrick Swayze. Both were quite young at the time. There were several great stars in there actually. I was about 14 when it came out. It seems like a long time ago.
