What are your favorite arts and crafts?

i've always enjoyed getting my hands dirty with paint, glue and all the other art materials out there. It's been a while since I've painted but if I do find time in the near future, I'd like to start at it again. Designing furniture through sketches is currently a pasttime and so is gluing things together.

I LOVE being creative... IN school i took 6 elective art classes and 3 elective creAtive writing courses. I love writing stories and poems, mostly childrens books and illustrating them my own way. I love scrapbooking and painting decorative glass and wood pieces. Im not too decorative in the home but on little figures and paper i definalty am.

My absolute favorite is crochet, but I also like cross-stitch and collage making. I'm starting to get into needlefelting, but that one is probably going to end with me poking myself with these tiny needles!

I just love to sew, but I just donn't have the time anymore.I f I did I'd be making Teddy bears Bears and Dolls colhes .

I used to make home made cards when I was young with dried pressed flowers etc. since having freeview television I have been watching QVC and Idealworld and really enjoying the card craft so I have been out and brought some card craft materials and i have started to make some more cards. I am not that good but I can make a decent card to put inthe post for a friend. I shall never be good enough to sell any, plus you do need to put a lot of time and effort into that hobbiy to make it pay, and I just don't have that time and effort. I just like to do it as a hobby for friends and family.

I've been beading a lot lately - tho I have picked up some sequin picture kits and doing those just lately, just something different. I'm kind of wanting to design my own beaded banner like I was making last year - I did take a picture of a light house and adapt several kits to make one of my own custom lighthouse for my sister of a lighthouse in NJ. The rest of the banners were just like the kits, so I did make one original. hummm - maybe I can make beaded mail thingies like the kit I got a few years ago - customized.... Guess I do need to by that beaded grab bag again this year....
