I'm out of here!!!

I have been sick for a week. My brother called the school today and told them he was worried about me and wanted me to come home. The school agreed and they will give me my travel money on Monday (they said it was a special case because I was sick because I had not finished my contract so they didn't have to give me anything). I will fly out of here by next weekend unless I can find a cheap ticket before then. I am going home!!! I think I feel 100% better already!!! Now maybe I can get back to work on homework and start feeling better (I have done nothing but sleep most of the last week). I hope everyone out there is doing well. Have a great day!!!

hi debbie, i was worried bout you and now i know why. i hope that you are feeling much better and i feel such decision is the best not only for your family but most to you. i am sorry that it has to end this way. you can just focus on the good side now. be able to see your family and friends. i hope i can bump with you someday out here, that would be awesome! im glad that your school will pay for your air ticket. btw, you mention you can come home earlier if you find a cheaper fare. did your school give a specific budget for your flight? i have heard that the air fare in china is way too high, specially in beijing and shanghai, guess it is because of the olympics. anyway, wish you all the best and have a safe trip. welcome home!

Actually, I have 10,000 RMB, but I don't want to spend it all. If I wait until May 3, I can get a ticket for $600 or so but if I go sooner, it would be almost twice that or even more because of the May 1 holiday here. I don't know if I will have to pay for my nephew's ticket or not. My brother is talking about him getting a repatriation loan instead, but I'd rather not have that happen again. I will talk to you later.

well, that's good then. extra days wont be that bad if you can save for doing so, i sure will do the same. yes holidays in china is BIG and everybody wants to go to visit place and families. hopefully you dont have to pay for your nephew's ticket so you just keep what you have and use it while you are looking for a new job. anyway, i wish you all the best and i talk you later. takecare!
