What the worse that ever happen to you and your family?

Big Flood! My house had been dash by big flood twice. The water last year reach 1,7 meter high for one week and this year 1,4 meter high for 3 days. Practically we lost everything.
All the furniture are damage and cant be used again after been soaked by dirty water for such a long time. Most of my clothes etc became so dirty its like you deliberately toss the clothes into mud. The house smell terrible!!!! we had to do a month cleaning daily basis just to scrub off the smell.
I keep thinking positive that at least we are not the only ones with the flood problem. I keep with positive thinking that the most important thing is that all our family members safe and healthy from the flood. we can always replace all the damaged stuff. but we can replaced health or people life. My positive thinking work for me. I don't get too much stress after that.
What happen already happen. Just think of the future and not the past. How about you? What the worse that ever happen to you? How did you handle it?

The worst thing that ever happened to me and my family was when my uncle (dad's brother ) has a brain stroke 11 yrs back. He has been parallysed ever since then and is bed ridden. We have to move him around in the wheel chair and he is incapable of doing anything on his own. My dad was really shattered by this and we suffered a huge monetary loss.

Falling Apart - that is the worst thing and the start of everything bad that happened to our family is when it fell apart. when my father went astray and said that he choses another woman over his family.
that started it all, our family went from having 2 cars, a townhouse, a business of our own to nothing.. selling our business, cars, house, and losing our savings when my dad left us with nothing but debts!
can anyone blame me for not wanting to see my dad??? :(

I don't blame you; but at least yours is still alive. Ever since mine was murdreed, my mom married another man years later, but only for the wealth my dad left behind. We went from having it all to having nothing, living in apartments and driving economy cars. I don't mind that we don't have the money - look what happened to my dad. Apparently, moneymakes people insane and they'll harm yuo to get yours. If I ever gain wealth myself, I'd rather people think I'm poor.

When we got evicted from out apartment. My manager was enjoying this. Till this day, I have never seen her since. I hope to never see her. What she did was mean. It was not our fault. I don't ever want to go through something like this ever again in my life!

My grandfather's increasingly frail health,the doctor told him lung cancer,but also advanced lung cancer.
I am feeling very good and Grandpa,i live in my grandfather's home in the small,in my small,he taught me to walk,taught me to speak,the church a lot of things.
I now in Beijing,i heard Grandpa's poor health,it is difficult for me too,the doctor said that he live in increasingly short time,but i now work busy,no time to look at him,if i had the time,i will immediately go back and Grandpa meeting.
I hope that my grandfather,and so i can come back!
