It's yard sale season here, yeah! Do you have a Holy Grail item this year?

I usually start the year all excited about what I am going to find and even make a little list of "most wanted" items. I know some collectors keep a "Holy Grail" item in mind. I collect toys and games, so I'm pretty easy to please. I don't have a "Holy Grail", really, other than a "huge box of cheap stuff"! Do you have anything like that?

i love yard sale season! but i dont go with any expectations of anything specific. i just go to troll through, and see whats there. baseball cards are a fave to find.. old books. not just the dusty generic books.. but ive found some rather valueable first editions rummaging through the "25 cents each boxes" always on the lookout for something unique to plop onto a shelf or nail to a wall as im doing a whole lot of redecorating recently. i plan to do a whole lot of yard trolling this year!!

I do need to replace some of my library. It was hit pretty hard by a flood two years ago (note to self: don't put library in basement, dumb-dumb). Thankfully, none of the ruined books were first editions or particularly old. This could be a good excuse to pick up more collectable copies of what I lost.
What I really love are library overstock sales, or similar bulk book sales. One local college has one ever year and I always find something good.

I love yard sales!I have already visited a few of the local sales this year...Yuo never know what little treasures you might just find..I have always heard oen mans junk is another mans treasure...lol
