Anyone know how to change a Pur Faucet Filter?  

No, silly. Lol. If I had the directions I wouldn't have asked. Although some people may ask anyway just to make some money. There's an idea... Lol. I could pretend I don't have directions for any of my appliances and ask questions on mylot about all of them. Lol. I'm tired and being silly.
I just bought it not too long ago. You would think the box would still be around somewhere with the instructions inside of it. I think I threw it away. I usually save all my instructions too. I have a place in my filing cabinet for them. But the water filter seemed too small...to simple...like I wouldn't need to follow directions for it.
I remember having the directions when I was putting it onto the faucet. Maybe I'll look around tomorrow and see if it's on a pile of mail and papers or something. I'm too tired tonight. Thanks for your comment!

I didn't see any instructions on that site. I surely thought others would have one of these things and respond by now. It's been sitting on my kitchen table for days and I don't know what to do. I'm back to buying bottled water again, and not drinking enough of it.
The worst thing is, that when I took it off the sink, the twisty end of the sink is also stuck inside the pur filter too!
So I have 2 things wrong! I may just have to buy another whole new thing...and save the instructions next time!

Ok then...Have you learned a valuable lesson here? Hope so and hope you don't end up needing to buy a new faucet as well. Have you tried contacting them thru their website for directions. Thought if you did, they may be able to email you the directions.

Yayyyyy! I did it!!!! It's changed!

Right ON the filter, it says to remove, to turn upright and turn the water on. Well, all along, I thought that was the way to remove it from the faucet, (not to remove the filter).

Well, duh, I put it back on the faucet, removed the cover, turned it upright, turned the water on, and it came fell off!

So, there are the directions for anyone in the future who needs to know! Lol.

darnit, I wish there was a way to edit on here. I meant to say it 'fell right off'. (not it came fell off! Lol.)

WTG! lol Now don't forget that the next time you have to change it. I used to hae a Brita faucet filter but I couldn't remember how I changed the filter on it to help you out. Ended up giving it to my mil when we moved into our new house cause the faucet doesn't accept them. It's one of those pull out faucet/sprayers.
