I really like grapes and last year I found someone selling cuttings on the sidewalk. I know absolutely nothing about growing grapes but he told me that it should bear fruit in 8 months or so and I planted them on a plot at the back of my house. Sadly, we had to move and I managed to save 2 of the grape plants and they are now transplanted in the new place. Does anyone have first-hand experience growing grapes? Is there anything special I should know about? like pruning and things like that?

I like grapes, and I think they are really tasty, In my opinion I think purple grapes are better, but when it comes to growing grapes I have no idea, but I think it would be really cool to grow some, and it would be cheaper then buying them from the grocery store, and besides you could always sell them at a cheaper price and make a profit.

My sentiments exactly and it is fun to learn a little bit more about something in general. It is good to eat grapes but it is also fun to watch a real live grape vine grow.

Ice cold I have tried but with salt? I should try that one. I guess there are many ways of enjoying grapes. This is good and I am learning something new here.
