Ovie was nominated for The Hart trophy!

Overchkin should get The Hart. he was the only reason his team climbed out of the basement to make the playoffs. He scored over 60 goals this season and he is the heart of the caps. He can play a finesse game or hit you into next week. I was afraid that he would be overlooked because The Caps were in and then out of the playoffs. I hope he gets The Hart. how about you? The other nominees are Ignila of Calgary and Malkin of Pittsburgh.

I honestly think it is his, most of the sports writers said it would be his if he got his team to the playoffs. he did that. look at Malkin and he wasnt the Hart of the team, not sure who was with the injuries and all but to many over shadowers. Ignila will gt some attetion but i dont think enough to take it way from Alex

I was reading a comment about him today that really says a lot. Average fans enjoy watching him play much the way they did Gretzky and Mario. He always seems to be having fun. While some knock him for celebrating to much, I think that it is great. Fans pay a lot of money to be at the game, they should get a nice show for their money, not that there is anything wrong with the ultra professional approach of the Wings. Cap fans havent always had a lot to cheer about but I think Ovie and his friends will give them something for a while..
side not what was ur opinion as a wing fan of Federov in the playoffs.
