in their own world  | |  do you ever feel like people around you are in their own worlds? like if you ask them to do something and it's like you were talking to the wall? or if you say something to them and they don't respond, but then just start talking about something that has nothing at all to do with what you were just asking them about? i certainly hope i don't do things like that. i try not to because i know how much it annoys me...i don't know, maybe i am just grouchy and tired right now. anyway-your thoughts would be appreciated!

My daughter is usually off in her own world and I'll have to say something like 4 times before it clicks "oh snap, mommys talking to ME" Other than that, I know a few adults like that too. Yes it is aggervating but that's life. I try not to do it either because it certianly bothers me too. I have done it before mainly for the fact I could not hear them over children or just dont hear them in general and then they say my name and I'm like oh boy! That was directed towards me.
