Its true.Life is a journey, and maturity is too, neither are destinations that one day any of us will reach. You have to take each mistake and learn from it to move on to the next road on this journey. If you don't learn from the mistakes, you'll get stuck in a rut and get passed by.

Yes, true indeed. I myself used my mistakes for the future lessons... I learned from my mistakes.

If people just remember that more often, they would avoid many unecessary falls and mistakes.
But unfortunately forgetting is the human nature.

sandybel_ you're right. It's never over until it's over. Right when I think I'm okay, life steps in and tosses me around. I don't know if I do learn from my past. Most of my past I would rather forget. There's nothing good there to help me.

I learn about me when I listen to other people talk about me. I hear them say I'm special and I think they're talking about someone else.

I'm licking wounds from love lost right now. I wonder if I'll learn from my last mistake? That's a lesson worth learning.

Learning from our mistakes is an essential part of life, It is how we grow and advance. It is how survival is made possible. It is something that even as infants we learn from. You may not remember it but it happened, You are learning to walk you step the wrong way and fall, And you pick yourself back up and try again!

Great post, as long as we can remember our past mistakes they do become our future lessons, we just have to remember we cannot fall back in that "comfort zone" that took us to that mistake we already learned. Good luck to a wonderul future:)
