are you a victim of shoplifters? |

well it was over 5-6 years when this happens. these were the times that my mom and i were still getting along well with each other. my mom and i decided to go to some boutique shop (which is bench) because she told me that there was a sale on bench. so we quickly go there. i leave my mom in the blouse section and i went to the underwear section lol but when i looked at my mom there was this strange couple (their age was near 30's) beside my mom. so i went quickly in the blouse section and i just observe them because they're very suspicious. to my surprise, i saw the man opening my mom's bag (and i know that his partner would get my mom's wallet because she's blocking my way, pretending that she's also looking on some blouses) and my mom wasn't aware of that because she's too busy on choosing which blouse she would buy for me then i quickly grab my mom in her arms and tell her that i need to buy some jeans lol then i looked at them from head to foot then they just go out of the boutique. i was afraid that time so that was the only thing that i did. after that i told her the real reason why i grabbed her and she was very surprised as well. was this ever happened on you?

1. desertdarlene (5543) | 5 months ago | It sounds like your mom was almost a victim of pick-pocketers. I almost had that happened to me. I wear a fanny pack and I felt something like someone's arm reaching around me and tugging on my bag. Well, I looked down and it was open and my wallet was starting to come out. Now, that's not unusual because sometimes I accidentally leave my bag unzipped. But, this was a little strange because the wallet was out so much more than usual. I just zipped it up and nothing happened. I looked around and I couldn't figure out who it was, but I had an idea. The area that I was in was full of druggies, so it wouldn't surprise me. I didn't make a big deal about it because I really couldn't prove who it was.

3. lkbooi (4748) | 5 months ago | Hi dear rhane, once my purse was snatched away while I was buying some cookies in front of the shops by a stranger who was believed to have ambushed around for quite some time there. My hubby and few customers there tried to chase the thief who then quickly got on to the back seat of his gang’s motorbike waiting in the dark nearby. They sped up and soon disappeared in another street, leaving my husband and few kind hearted helpers panting then.

I heard where children froze up seeing their MUM get robbed and after they were asked why they did nothing, The very sad thing there, was the child was doing something. They were going thru hell and not knowing what to do, a million things would be going thru that child's mind. The child was in a silent panic.... how hard is that.

5. chrissieatu (541) | 5 months ago | I have never been a victim of shoplifters. But I experienced that when I was on a bus. That day, I went out shopping with my friend. On our way back, the bus was really crowded. I was so tired that I close my eyes to have some rest and put my hands on top of my hands. Then I felt somebody was approaching me. I opened my eyes to check twice and found nothing wrong. But the third time I found the man in front of me was stretching his hand to my bag. Noticing that I saw his action, he drew back but didn't mean to give up because he thought I was alone. Then I called my friend and that man finally walked to the back of the bus.

6. spoiledbrat802 (759) | 5 months ago | rhane, you must've meant PICKPOCKETS instead of SHOPLIFTERS. Pickpockets steal from you, shoplifters steal store merchandise. At any rate, since you asked, two years ago a pickpocket took my celphone from my jacket's pocket. The guy was never caught although the mall's surveillance camera caught him picking my pocket. But there's always KARMA and what gets around comes around so I know I'll get my payback someday.^^
