He awoke with a startle as the phone rang beside him. Picking the phone up he uttered a "what" before slamming the phone back down and running to the closet to grab a pair of jeans and a shirt. Slipping his shoes on, he ran into the other room and kissed his wife, exclaiming a simple "duty calls" before running out the door and starting his Chevy Truck. His wife looked up and sent a silent prayer, as she continued to work on her reports for her job. Her husband joined the ranks of Texas' Finest about a year ago, and she'd been doing that as ritual ever since. A Hasty Departure from their beautiful country home was not uncommon, nor was it uncommon for her to check on their two year old each time, as it was inevitable that he'd awaken. His Father's Namesake was a very light sleeper, and would surely be crying out as soon as he opened his eyes. It looked as if her reports would not be done tonight, oh well. She would surely get them done at the crack of dawn, as she had often times before. What do you think? I know it's not done, and probably needs a bit more work... but were you intrigued? Would you like to read more?

Baby, that is a very intriguing writing piece, and I think you have a lot of skill when it comes to writing.Do I sense a bit of insight when it comes to me wanting to be a Texas Ranger?I hope if thats not the end of it, that you finish it, because I want to see how that story ends.

Just as I am sure that you want me to finish the other piece that was supposed to be a collaborated piece between us? yes ofcourse it's about you being a Texas Ranger... and when I said about the saddle earlier? I was being serious. I didn't mean the truck now, i meant later!

I love you too and do not worry I will finish the story. I am glad that you are flattered, it just kind of popped into my head... Also, your saddle will be pink.

I appreciate your comment. I had just thought of the story although I do have one sort of like it already halfway written. I will be contributing more to the story, although it will probably be after I can paste as I would want to keep the story together.
