| inapaulineabelon (74) | 4 months ago | Thanks for the advice! I like the movie though not that much. I like Harry Potter more. I heard there's a sequel to eragon. They say these are 3 books. Is that true?

|
esteria (163) | 4 months ago | yes there are three books the third is in printing right now its title is BRINSINGR. you will really like it it has gods in it too. i do like harry potter too.

|
| inapaulineabelon (74) | 4 months ago | Wow! The title is really weird. I heard another book in the series is entitled Eldest. So i thought the third book's title would also begin with the letter E. Hehe! Guess i was mistaken with my assumption.

esteria (163) | 4 months ago | well if you had seen the movie well or read the book you would know that brisingr was the first magic spell that was used and also it belongs to the name of fire. So i was prepared for it.....the second book is eldest i think the movie of this one is nearly complete tooo...

2. nanayangel (2620) | 5 months ago | Hi there inapaulineabelon! I only watched the movie too so I don't really know. But based on my personal experience, it's always better in the books save for a couple of exceptions.

| inapaulineabelon (74) | 4 months ago | Yeah i agree with you. Same with Harry Potter. Do you know any other book which has a movie that captured very little of the wonderful features of the book?

5. murtagh92 (146) | 4 months ago | um...well, i'd hav to say the book was much better than the movie... of course, usually things are left out when making a movie based on the book, but i usually enjoy the movie...however, this time, it was particularly bad, like so much more left out, and some parts weren't even related, like the fight scene at the end of the movie. this was a bad one, and i wouldn't recommend seeing it, but if ur like me, u just hav to see it because other people could be wrong and u just might like it! lol, let me know how everything turns out!

| inapaulineabelon (74) | 4 months ago | Thanks for the response! I'll find time to read the book one of these days and see if you got it right. Some others said that the book is really better than the movie so i guess i have to believe you guys. I can't remember the fight scene though. Can you tell me all about it?

6. pheonixstar1982 (505) | 4 months ago | I read the book first and thought it was great and was excited about seeing the movie. I have to say i was more than a little disappointed in the movie. Alot of great stuff in the book was left out. I have the second book but only got about half way through it because it just wasnt as interesting to me as the first one was. I was at the bookstore the other day and saw there was a third one which made want to try reading the second one again.

| 7. yoyo1198 (97) | 4 months ago | In my years and years of experience, the books are ALWAYS better than the movies. This one, the same. I'm really looking forward to the next book of this series. I think it is to be released in September. I've been into dragons since '91 when I first started playing the FF video games. Now I've got video games, books, collectibles, pictures, games etc concerning dragons.

8. patms1 (125) | 4 months ago | The book is always better then the movie except for Jaws and a few others. In the book they can be more descriptive and have more people to make the story more understandable. Besides a book can be carried and taken to the beach or wherever.
| |
| |
|
|
| inapaulineabelon (74) | 4 months ago | To the beach or to the spa. Hehe! I haven't heard of Jaws having a book. That's quite a discovery for me. Who's the author?
