| |  If it would produce a lot more coconuts than a normal ree, whoever buys it can reproduce it and make a lot of money from selling the new trees. Many people would want to buy this type of tree because they can make more profit from growing it.
If this is the only one of its kind in the world then it is probably worth the price they are asking for it.

I am guessing that you need two trees to make baby trees. The only tree that I know that reproduces using a clone of itself is the Banana tree (not really a tree - a herb actually).
